Motopark and sign cooperation agreement for Macau GP 2017

When the prestigious Macau Grand Prix takes place from 16 to 19 November 2017, Team Motopark will compete with two cars under the “Motopark with VEB” banner.

With Joel Eriksson from Sweden and Sergio Sette Camara from Brazil, two experienced Macau drivers are the confirmed drivers for "Motopark with VEB". is one of the biggest online gaming websites in Asia with more than 5 million customers all over the world. The company is also Exclusive Asia Online Gaming Partner of La Liga football team RCD Espanyol in Barcelona.

Team Motopark will participate with a total of four drivers in the 64th edition of the Macau Grand Prix, one of the world’s most important Formula 3 races, held in China’s special administrative region of Macau.
The outfit of team principle Timo Rumpfkeil is counting on experienced talents with the Swede Joel Eriksson and Sergio Sette Camara from Brazil for the challenging Grand Prix, which marks the finale of the Formula 3 season. The race has the official FIA World Cup Formula 3 status as drivers of the European series, the Japanese series and other national series all get together in Macau to find out who’s the best among them.

Sergio Sette Camara: "It’s very exciting to race in Macau GP. I have very good memories of the event. I did set the current lap record there in 2015 and finished on the podium in 2016.
"It’s great to be back with Motopark and I will do my best to charge for the podium. I want to thank for giving me the trust to support me in Macau GP and I’m eager to repay their trust with good results."

The Macau Grand Prix on the fast and dangerous Guia circuit on the peninsula off the Hong Kong shore has been held in November every year since 1954. The 6.115-kilometre-long circuit is known as one of the most demanding tracks in the world, with tight corners, uncompromising crash barriers and fast straights. Formula 3 cars can reach a top speed of 275 kilometres per hour.
