Jonathan Aberdein: “Fighting for Pole Positions and Wins”

72 points after four events: Team Motopark driver Jonathan Aberdein has to make do with seventh place in the ADAC Formula 4 championship. So far, the South African racer has made it to the podium three times. Here’s our short interview with the 19-year-old from Cape Town.

Team Motopark: After the twelfth of 21 races this season more than half of the Formula 4 season is over. What went good, what went wrong?
Jonathan Aberdein: The first two rounds didn't go so well. We struggled with finding the right setup and I made a few mistakes which cost us a lot.
From Red Bull Ring on it has been quite positive, qualifying pace has been great and we are there fighting for Pole Positions and wins.

Team Motopark: What is your goal for the rest of the season?
Jonathan Aberdein: Going forward I think our aim should be to collect the maximum points from each race.
